3 class units (1 unit = ½ day). Additional class units may be purchased for $25 each
Thursday evening tour to the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft for HGA’s “Small Expressions” followed by a reception at the CHH Guild House
Friday evening dinner and Keynote Speech by Deborah Chandler
Saturday evening Fashion Show and dessert reception
Sunday brunch and Closing Speech by Michael Rohde
Saturday Single-day registration is available at $110 and includes all regular activities of that day, including meals.
Saturday evening buffet dinner and special presentation by Mary Zicafoose, The Power of Cloth. Tickets are $50.
World Textiles Exhibit, featuring items from the collections of CHH members, at the Sugar Land Arts Center, just 5 minutes from the hotel. Opening reception on Wednesday evening following pre-conference workshops.
HGA’s Small Expressions Traveling Exhibit and Reception at the Contemporary Handweavers of Houston Guild House.
Small Expressions is an annual, international, juried exhibition of small-scale works in fiber, and is HGA’s most prestigious exhibit. The exhibit will be on view at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Houston’s premier craft museum.
Transportation provided to Small Expressions followed by a reception hosted by CHH.
Registration for any CHT Conference 2017 class activity is open only to CHT members. Current CHT members will have registration preference beginning February 1, 2017. Open registration will begin March 1, 2017.
In addition to the registration fee, all conference attendees will join or renew their membership for the 2017 -2019 term. Membership is $40 and runs for two years, from conference to conference.
